We’re seeing red: that beautiful bitter Campari red that goes so well with gin, vermouth and orange. Negroni Week 2023 is September 18 through 24, and if you’re in Bangkok September 20, all aboard for a night to remember with free-flow drinks and fine food on the majestic Chao Phraya River.
NEGRONI WEEK IS BACK! One of the world’s most anticipated global cocktail events is slated to happen in Thailand from September 18th through 24th, to celebrate the bonds between Campari, that iconic Italian drink the Negroni, and the world of mixology, with fundraising proceeds going to charitable partner, Slow Food.
During the 11th edition of Negroni Week in Thailand, cocktail enthusiasts will get the chance to enjoy a variety of iconic cocktails, from the classic staples to innovative, inspiring recipes, at leading bars and restaurants, as well as boozy brunch, and fun bar hops at various venues all over town.
For example, look forward to quadruple deliciousness on Thursday 21 September, at The Loft Bangkok, Oskar Bistro Bangkok, Zuma Bangkok, and SoCal at InterContinental Bangkok. The Loft Bangkok at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok is offering sensational creations by Nick Sourmpatis, Head Bartender of the internationally acclaimed The Clumsies Bar in Athens and Greece’s Diageo Bartender of the Year 2012. Meanwhile, over at Zuma Bangkok, a special guest bartender is set to wow the crowd with Japanese-inspired Negronis.
And this year, for the first time, Negroni lovers in Thailand can enjoy their favorite tipple (and more!) in a one-night-only Negroni Week Cruise on Wednesday 20 September. Step aboard a beautifully restored antique rice barge and set out for a memorable journey with Campari x Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. Guests will be treated to a fine-dining set dinner, classic Campari cocktails, and the stunning views of heritage residences, glittering temples and striking landmarks on an idyllic cruise along the majestic Chao Phraya River.
A ticket at THB 3,000 gets you fine-dining set dinner and free flow cocktails from the Negroni Week menu on this cruise, which starts from 5pm at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort and concludes at 8pm. Limited tickets are available from CAMPARI official Line Account @campari, and 100% of the proceeds from tickets sold will be donated to the Foundation for the Deaf under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen.
