Restaurateur Zorawar Kalra

Delhi-born star restaurateur Zorawar Kalra is at the helm of multiple modern Indian restaurant chains. The son of the late Jiggs Kalra, the iconic chef and food columnist, Kalra’s love for food and desire to elevate Indian cuisine led him to launch ZK Restaurant Concepts in 2006. He followed it up with Massive Restaurants six years later. From gourmet, casual to fine dining, the brand has a slew of iconic restaurants such as Masala Library, Farzi Café, Pa Pa Ya, Made in Punjab, and more. When he decides to travel, Kalra “prefers to pack as few suitcases as possible.” He flies in and out of bustling cities like Milan, Tokyo, and New York for inspiration. Pristine beach destinations—like Maldives—are his second love. “Travel is crucial to break away from regular, mundane life.”
