Chef Anahita Dhondy

Hailing from a Parsi family in Delhi, Anahita Dhondy donned the chef’s hat and apron as early as 10 years of age. She still digs into her home flavours as she whips up sumptuous surprises at SodaBottleOpenerWala, where she is the Chef Partner. Dhondy has been with the Parsi restaurant chain since its inception in 2013, when she joined it as the Chef Manager—armed with a Le Cordon Bleu Grand Diplôme®. While cooking started at home for the young chef, her travels have enhanced her culinary skills and sharpened her insight. “Whenever I go to a country, I have a list of food markets and restaurants that I have
to visit,” she says. But she also sets aside a lot of time for self-discovery—to stumble upon that cute little cafe somewhere.

“Travel is one of the best and most important things you can spend your money on.”
